Join us for an unforgettable theatrical adventure at the Oddfellows Theater Summer Sessions! That awkward time just before school begins just got better!
Designed for budding young performers ages 6-14, our program offers an immersive experience where creativity, confidence, and collaboration take center stage.
Running from August 12-16th and 19-23rd, each week promises a whirlwind of excitement from 9am to 4pm daily.
​Participants will dive into the magical world of theater, honing their acting and stage movement skills under the guidance of instructors Dan Schmidt & Allegra Green.
​
But that's not all! As the culmination of their hard work and dedication, the week concludes with a mini-production presented on the final day of the program at 6pm.

Families and loved ones are cordially invited to witness the spectacle and applaud the young stars as they shine onstage.

SESSION 1: A week-long theater adventure culminating with a mini- production of The Phantom Tollbooth at 6pm on Friday, August 16th.

About the show: The Phantom Tollbooth follows the story of Milo, a young boy who embarks on an adventurous journey to save the once prosperous (but now troubled) Kingdom of Wisdom, rescue the Princesses Rhyme and Reason, and bring peace between two divided kings.​

SESSION 2: Join us for a week-long theater adventure culminating with a mini-production of Journey Back to Oz at 6pm on Friday, August 23rd.

About the show: When the rightful heir to the throne of Oz goes missing, it’s up to our heroes to journey across the Deadly Desert, from the land of Ev to Oz and save the day! Based upon The Marvelous Land of Oz and Ozma of Oz by L. Frank Baum, Journey Back to Oz introduces us to new friends (Tik-Tok, Jack Pumpkinhead, the Wogglebug, the Nome King, Ozma, and more) and reunites us with familiar faces (the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, the Cowardly Lion, and Dorothy Gale herself.)
